Bitrino was started in September 2008 by software engineers with backgrounds as diverse as calendaring and scheduling, groupware, multi-media streaming, animation, online advertising and data center and storage management. Veterans of many a venture-backed startup, we were tired of raising millions of dollars, hiring big teams and building complex solutions with difficult go-to-market strategies. We craved simplicity and the iPhone gave us just that. Hacking the iPhone felt just like it did when we were kids playing around with the Apple IIe and the first Macintoshes. Writing software has become fun again! |
